Christian Church Marketing - Post 3 - "Reach"
"Reach Out To Hurting People"
.
Yes - we are beginning this journey with some basics.
On purpose.
Yesterday - we talked about the fact that there is nothing more important than people. Not us and not buildings.
Today we mention a marketing concept called 'reach.' Typically, reach is just what is says, and at times the word 'penetration' is also used (or mis-used.) Diving into semantical differences here is not our goal, and neither is meaningess attention to perfect definitions or techno-speak.
So - today we'll define a working definition of 'reach' in a simple form as it applies to people ... "Which groups of people do you want to reach from your Church?"
To reach certain groups of people, you have to know both where to find them and how to get in front of them.
In future posts, we'll invest more time in specific ways to accomplish these basic parameters and goals we're setting out here at the begining.
So - right now - focus only on the people you want to reach, and where you think you can find them. Please record your thoughts in your Christian Church Marketing notebook.
God Bless you -
